BRT Apartments Corp., a Maryland corporation, is an internally managed real estate investment trust, also known as a REIT, that is focused on the ownership, operation, and to a lesser extent, holds interest in joint ventures that own and operate multi-family properties.
At December 31, 2024, we own or have interests in 29 multi-family properties located in 11 states with an aggregate of 7,947 units, including properties and units owned by unconsolidated joint ventures and have preferred equity investments in two multi-family properties.
Most of our properties are located in the Southeast United States and Texas.
BRT's shares of common stock trade on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol "BRT." As of December 31, 2024, there were 18,782,902 shares outstanding and 715 holders of record.
