Working with Custom Themes

Custom themes allow you to organize tickers based on your own categorization. You can set up and manage your themes in the themes editor. To learn more about the importance of themes, check out our blog post.

Viewing themes in the screener

To view theme information in the screener, enable the Theme and Theme group columns:

• Click the Columns button in the top-right corner, then the Fundamentals tab
• Enable the Theme and Theme group columns
• You can reorder and resize these columns like any other column in the screener

Filtering by themes

The screener's filter sidebar allows you to filter tickers based on themes:

• Open the filter sidebar by clicking the Filter button
• Find the Theme and Theme group filters
• Select one or multiple themes or theme groups to filter the screener

Adding tickers to themes

Individual tickers

To add a single ticker to a theme:

• Click the star icon next to any ticker
• Click the Themes tab if it's not already selected
• Check the theme from the dropdown
• The ticker will be immediately added to the selected theme
• Tip: You can use the search field to narrow down the options

Multiple tickers

To add all visible tickers to a theme:

• Click the sparkles icon in the table header
• Click the Themes tab if it's not already selected
• Check the desired theme from the dropdown
• All currently visible tickers will be added to the selected theme
• Tip: You can use the search field to narrow down the options

Creating new themes

You can quickly create a new theme directly from the screener:

• Click the "+" icon next to the theme search input
• Enter the name for your new theme
• Click Save to create the theme
• The new theme should immediately show up in the dropdown and ready to be checked
